I am already in pain today, and added to it by re-ordering the clsoet, with slidding doors, that Terror shoved all her dirty laundry and shoes in (shoes at the bottom, shiv5468. She's not very respectful of them. Most of them are sneakers, anyway, and not shoes proper), to lean against the closet door. This means, of course, making it go off the runners (again). Had to waste half an hour reorganizing everything. Already sent an email yelling at her for it.

Coffee first, and moving stuff out of the bedroom in shifts, the stuff I can actually move out, painfully, anyway. They're finally gonig to see aobut replacing the carpet, after talking about first replacing, then just doing a patch, and then replacing it again now. After 2 years, at least there's finally movement.

Of course, I can't really move out the furniture, but... I'll do what I can to relocate the miscellanea.

this is no simple project for me, but it has ot be done: and, when msotly done, I'll have to ask them if I need to clear the closet floors too, as they are, technically, part of the bedroom and are, in fact, carpeted.

I just wondering if anyone or you could capping each episodes from season one?

I need 1x12, 1x13, 1x14, 1x15, 1x16, 1x17, 1x18, 1x19, 1x20, 1x21 and 1x22.

At last! I have moved forward with the zombie story. I'll continue on Void and Dystopia next week. Maybe I can make it an alternating thing. Like, one week I'll slave away on my Sailor Moon fanfics and the next week I'll slave away on my zombie story. I think that seems a decent schedule. Though, really, it's me. I can't stick to self-imposed schedules. XD I just write whatever whenever the mood strikes me. Oh well.

I must finish Dystopia soon, though, and Void is honestly probably gonna wrap up pretty soon, too, so I can focus on my other two original projects, instead of having four different things going at once. But I won't rush Dystopia and Void. I don't want it to seem rushed. I want to put out a quality product! Even though absolutely nobody reads either of them. Still. Principle's the thing.

It should be noted that Gerard Way is an alcoholic and an ex-drug addict. This is a major part of the identity that he projects. He talks about this a lot. Missing this piece of canon is rather like missing the fact Frank Iero has tattoos and plays guitar. So I am baffled as to why you thought writing Gerard casually tossing back shots with the rest of the band was a good idea when the time line of your own fic puts him as clean and sober for at least five years. I could have bought that your fic!Gerard didn't have alcohol and drug addiction issues if you hadn't previously mentioned how proud everyone was that he was clean. Unless I am mistaken and everyone was happy he'd taken a bath?

Castiel? Yeah, he's not a pushover. Or an idiot, for that matter. He might be a virgin in the most literal sense of the word, but 'virgin' is not a codeword for 'helpless moron', okay?

He could fuck Dean up sideways without batting an eye and Dean knows it. Which means that unless you've got some pretty serious extenuating circumstances going on, Dean is not going to be able to trick Cas into bed and force himself upon him. Even if he wanted to. Which he wouldn't, because not only is Castiel not a helpless moron, but Dean is not a sociopathic rapist.

I know, Dean's the biggest horndog since Captain Jack. He drinks a lot and fights a lot and has a string of sexual conquests that's probably at least as long as his rap sheet. I get it. He's really, really fond of sex (the only thing that redeems the human experience, if you believe his conversation with Anna on the subject), and he's pretty much a guy's guy. And Castiel is solemn and modest and a virgin. I understand that this makes things fall neatly into little pre-ordered romance-novel categories and removes that difficult 'brain function' aspect of writing.

But, Jesus, watch the show. Dean is a good guy. I don't think he's ever pushed for sex when somebody didn't want it; we've seen him get shot down plenty of times and he always seems to take it with good grace. And even if the Sex Pollen got him, Cas could still kick his ass. Their relationship is more complicated than Manly!Dean/Girly!Castiel. Plz to be remembering that.

Oh, and if this rant has failed to move you, I offer evidence (spoilery only to people who don't know who Castiel is).

I'm rewatching James May on the Moon. ♥! I was just flipping through the channels and saw it coming up. Hooray!

In other news, I've got two pages of the first part of my zombie story done. Soon, the actual story part will come into play. Or I might just can these first two pages altogether and let it take the "discovery by scientists in-story" route. I dunno. The latter route might prove difficult, though, because I'd rather get on with the zombie-smashing bits as soon as possible, because that's what I'm halfway decent at writing about.

I dunno, though.

I guess I'll write one version and then the other and see which one I like the most once both are finished. Or combine them together, IDK.

I think I'll probably just go with the version that I'm writing right now, due to plot-related reasons. Because of the fact that I tend to just wander with my stories (you know--Void started out completely and utterly different and morphed, in the middle of writing it, into a cosmic horror-flavored magical girl story with only tangential relation to Sailor Moon, and Dystopia started out as being "THE DARK TOWER! EXCEPT WITH MAGICAL GIRLS!" but it morphed into "NERDS! EXPLORING A POST-APOCALYPTIC WASTELAND OUT OF CURIOSITY AND BOREDOM!"), this has gone rather far beyond just being a zombie story. It's more like a story of the elder gods' return to their rightful domain, and how Normal People deal with it. So I guess maybe a scientists-discovering-the-virus beginning would be misleading and/or superfluous.

Also, I haven't got a lot of scientists in this story. There are a handful, but the majority of the characters are just normal people with far more boring, normal jobs. Jenny Clisaque is a chef/restaurateur, Berto Ruiz is a high school principal, Nick Wilkes is a mechanic, and Charlotte Shipley (our central heroine, if you recall) just finished working as a counselor at a Girl Scout camp over the summer. Most of the scientists in this story are either engineers or regular old medical doctors.

I'm really glad you support A/B, since that's my OTP to end all OTPs. The fics aren't exactly pouring in for this pairing, so thank you for the contribution. However, I have to say you made me twitch, and not only because the fic reads like a crappy yaoi manga that has been injected with all the cliches of the genre.

I feel really whiny and bratty about saying this, but...

ARGH! YOU RUINED MY OTP! For everyone who's had their OTP butchered, I can finally say, "I feel your pain."
